Our Company
Founded in 2005, Powers Oil and Propane is a family-owned LLC energy company, owned and operated by President Scott Powers and Vice President Toni Powers. The company serves customers in Northeast Ohio through both its delivery and retail divisions.
Toni Powers represents the third generation of her family in the fuel industry, a legacy that began in 1951 with her grandfather, Jay Haynam, who started as an agent for Sohio and later Ashland Oil. The business was then passed down to her father, Art Beltz, before Scott Powers joined as an agent in 1994.
In May 2022, Powers Oil and Propane expanded its commitment to serving the community by acquiring Hahlen Oil. Both companies have proudly provided reliable fuel services since 1951, and we were honored to welcome Hahlen Oil customers into the Powers Oil and Propane family.
Who We Are
Powers Oil and Propane is your reliable fuel provider in Northeast Ohio. Since returning to Toni’s hometown of Alliance, OH, in 1994, Scott and Toni Powers have worked side by side to grow the company while upholding its core values of community, customer service, and hard work. Scott brings over 22 years of experience in fuel distribution, known for his integrity, passion for people, charisma, and unwavering faith. Toni, a lifelong part of the fuel business and a graduate in physical therapy, has contributed to the business in every role from childhood to leadership. Together, they attribute the company’s growth and success to their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and are committed to serving in such a way that demonstrates excellence and leadership.
As a locally owned company, we are invested in our community. We participate in and sponsor numerous community events and charities throughout the year, as well as make donations toward positive causes. In 2022, we were honored to be awarded the Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Award.
